There are two main types of coffee beans – the café Arabica and the café Robusta. High-quality blends consist of 100% Arabica beans. Arabica beans produce a superior taste in the cup, being more flavourful and complex than its Robusta counterpart. Robusta beans tend to produce a bitter brew, with a musty flavour and less body.
